I am in LOVE with this song. It’s the perfect spring/summer jam. Ridiculously catchy.. it was stuck in my head for so long after listening on the SXSW Bandcamp page - which has a track from every artist who performed down in Austin! Very cool. Definitely spent a lot of time listening. Ahh Austin.. unfortunately I didn’t catch High Highs while I was down there. But I did finally catch them on Wednesday night at Glasslands, with Princeton, NewVillager, and Ivana XL, all of whom I LOVE! Princeton and NewVillager are pretty new to me but they absolutely won me over.. more on them later!
High Highs played a beautiful set.. very mellow, mics draped w/ white string lights, under the incredible paper cloud installation above the stage. It wasn’t a packed show but a nice turnout. Was really great to chat with them for a bit and let them know how much I really dig their music. Ahh Brooklyn <3
