Bonnaroo 2012 <3

A couple of my girls from the Wanderlust office hopped onboard! We rode down with strangers from Craigslist who became really great friends :)
Radiohead blew our minds. St. Vincent was insanely amazing. Bon Iver stole our hearts… The Civil Wars brought me to tears. Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. pumped us up and made us wiggle… we high-fived White Denim as they hopped offstage.. Rubblebucket popped up a giant rainbow love tunnel for us all to run though! The Beach Boys made us feel like 5 year-olds, and was the perfect music for parachuting! Feist was just lovely. and Phish! It was my first Phish experience.. and those guys have the most devoted fans I’ve ever seen. A million glowsticks flying through the air.. no one even cared about the rain. Crazy ass party animals!

Cannot wait until next year..

ahh I’ve terribly neglected Seafoam!! Well.. it’s for good reason, at least. I went down to Tennessee for Bonnaroo, which was just absolutely the best fucking time possible. I am newly obsessed with Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr., who blew me away with their energetic performance!! They’re SO much fun, they sing awesome little melodies with cute harmonies and will make you dance your ass off.

We went to BONNAROOOOOOO! (Celeste &amp; Abbey, that is. We wish Corrie were with us!!) We are exhilarated. Exhausted. Proud we did not sunburn. Trying to process all of the incredible music we saw. Feeling weird using toilets again and showering regularly, and having clean nails. Freaking out about Brooklyn&#8217;s nice cool temps upon our return. More detailed and specific posts to come.. But for now! Here are some highlights in single words and small phrases, not at all in order of appearance: Tennessee!  *  Chattanooga Walmart tailgaiting. *  Jenny Loco Swayze from the Block  *  MY MORNING JACKET into ARCADE FIRE ohmygod! *  the sky is on glitter!  *  southern accents  *  glowsticks = bodypaint  *  &#8220;where the fuck did you get that Gumby costume?!&#8221;   &#8220;online..&#8221;  *  &lt;3 IRON &amp; WINE &lt;3  *  oven tent  *  Lil&#8217; Wayne&#8217;s fans have nice swag  *  Sorry Miss Jackson  *  RAY LAMONTAGNE!  *  the Sheets tent  *  bubbles  *  WHAT! you only get 2 chicken strips now!?  *  spf 100+  *  french braids  * flower in a cowboy hat  *  body pastels  *  centeroo  *  glowing jellyfish hair  *  we must get to that raging tent  *  &#8220;i know this is Ratatat.. but is this Pretty Lights or Ratatat??&#8221;  *  MUMFORD &amp; SONS!  *  bunk boomers  *  Junip in the shade w/ a breeze :)  Jose Gonzales is a dream  *  Robert Plant &amp; Band of Joy!!!-to-Beirut!!!-to-Explosions in the Sky!!!-to-The Strokes&#8230;  *  we have 20 more minutes of this..?!&#8221;  *  Wavves &amp; Sleigh bells do not translate well to far distances  *  Eminem&#8217;s so angry!  *  &#8220;Let&#8217;s go see..
